How Safetap works
01 · DRIVE
Push down on the quill and the forward cone engages, driving the tap clockwise into the hole at spindle speed.
02 · REVERSE
Ease off and the upper cone takes over, spinning the tap back out at double speed — no spindle reverse needed.
03 · PROTECT
An adjustable friction clutch slips before the tap does — your protection against breakage in blind and hard holes.
